Orikal Uno- Rhymes, Crimes & Good Times EP
Straight from the depths of Orikal Uno's emotions, fears, thoughts and triumphs stands Rhymes, Crimes & Good Times, a short collection of songs 100% produced and written by Orikal Uno.
Dead in the center of a world filled with struggle, hustle, short-comings and lost hopes, Orikal Uno let his pen capture his current location in his life.
The mood is of a frozen Minnesota-late-October midnight, dark, cold and gritty. The lyrics are raw and the subjects are honest. Considered some of Orikal Uno's most personal lyrics to date.

Blockhead- Cheer up! or don't
Visit the new blog by Blockhead and download the Cheer up! or don't mix. It's a great blog with some of the highlights being a much needed call to end the skinny jeans fad and an unreleased song with Aesop Rock called Jinx Planet
Check out http://phatfriend.wordpress.com/
Blockhead wrote:
As the gawd Necro once said “morbidity it your future”. but don’t throw in the towel just yet young’un. you got dumped? you hate your job? you just an overall wishy washy sad mess of a person? or perhaps you’re like me and you just like some straight up depressing music every now and then. whatever the case, this mix is for you. it’s a bunch of gut wrenching songs that play perfectly for a walk through the streets in the dead of winter at 3 am or a bathtub suicide. this one is all over the map. from newish borderline corny shit to some rare soul. but the common theme is BOO FUCKIN’ HOO.
listen to this and cheer up (you’re not dead yet).

Random "Push" Video
Random, aka Mega Ran, Big Ran or Random Beats. Half-teacher, half musician, all hustle. A 14-year music veteran, Philadelphia native and Phoenix transplant, Random's bars are filled with all of the heartache, pain, triumph, tragedy and fun that come with everyday living. A graduate of Penn State University and middle school instructor, Random speaks to the everyman, transcending race or class barriers."I never want anyone to predict my next move," he says. You can, however, expect the unexpected from Random, hence the name.
It all started with The Call, Random’s political and spiritually charged debut album in 2006, which went on to rave reviews and critical acclaim. The Call is now being utilized in university coursework in several colleges in the US.
For his stunning follow-up, Random stayed true to his moniker and released the fun filled video-game tribute album Mega Ran, which continues to reach new heights after video game corporation CAPCOM offered Random an exclusive licensing agreement, leading to movie soundtrack placements and press coverage in Blender, Wired and several other magazines.
Random’s newest release, The 8th Day, is available now.
Something new… something different… something Random.

Wild Xmas With Bomarr, Vol 4
Bomarr, a.k.a. Matt Valerio, is a self-made man of many hats: beatmaker, remixer, DJ, compilation curator and video artist; one-third of Restiform Bodies, one-half of Bat Rays, and one-whole nice guy raised in New England, now living in the New Wild West. As a child, he was living-room-renowned for a mean Casio cover of Lionel Richie; these days he’s best loved for a different sound. Call it punk ’n’ fuzz electro-hop, or synth-heavy bass-favoring hypno-bounce, or just dirty digital fresh—Bomarr’s style is inimitably his.

T.Q.D. The Appetizer EP
T.Q.D was born and raised in Minnesota. He has been rapping since 1997 and plans on doing so for many years to come.
He is a member of Background Noise Crew with friends Egpyto Knuckles, Phingaz, ToneKrusher Smith, Status Reign, and Analyrical.
His first solo album entitled "Not Yet" was released at the tail end of 2006. "Not Yet" was a collection of songs, some brand new and some older songs, that became a document of his life in the immediate past leading up to its release. P.O.S (Doomtree/Rhymesayers) made a guest appearance on the song "Cedar States," and Cecil Otter (Doomtree/Strange Famous) contributed half of the album's production, and a guest verse on "Shore To Shore."
Not Yet was followed up at the tail end of 2007 with a collaborative EP with close friend and rapper/producer Phingaz under the name Green Sketch. The duo's EP was called "So Long…For Now." "So Long...For Now" displayed a different T.Q.D, shedding much of the subject matter displayed on "Not Yet" and a new found personal and artistic direction.
In 2009, T.Q.D released "Clench, Grit, Breathe," his sophomore solo effort. "Clench, Grit, Breathe" shows T.Q.D using the growth from the Green Sketch EP as a launching pad in a new direction. While "Clench, Grit Breathe" is still a personal record, this album finds T.Q.D taking some time to look outside the confines of his own life to touch on observations and opinions about his world view, and exploring stories about those whom he knows.
What is next for T.Q.D? Time will tell.
